Thanksgiving To Go
If you’re new to Hong Kong you may not know that every year the Mandarin Oriental offers a Thanksgiving feast take out so you can celebrate at home with minimum hassle.
Delivered in the Mandarin’s signature “top hat” boxes the feast includes a medium or large turkey that’s been marinaded, brined and roasted to perfection with all the trimmings and a choice of either a pumpkin or salted butter pecan pie. All you (or your helper) has to do is warm it up in the oven. Order at the Mandarin Cake Shop by November 21st and allow two days’ notice for home delivery.
Meanwhile on the other side of Central, Lily & Bloom is also offering a Thanksgiving Family Feast to take away devised by new executive chef Chris Grare, an American who previously worked at Café Boulud in New York. The menu is available from November 21st.
