New BA lounge in Singapore
by chopstixandthecity on September 1, 2015
The newly revamped British Airways lounge in Singapore is now open and mighty fine looking it is. But Chopstix’s favourite element is the Concorde Bar – located behind a discreet, locked doorway.
You’ll need a passcode to get in and you’re only getting that if your flying BA First class or have a Concorde Room card.
Inside the diminutive lounge-within-a-lounge, the space is smaller than the Concorde Rooms at London Heathrow and New York JFK but like its namesakes has fewer guests so feels more exclusive.
There’s also the wonderful design feature of these “electronic walls” with video scenes of Singapore. Nice touch BA.
